Holst Birthplace Museum’s Curriculum Fair

Saturday 22 April 2017

Are you a teacher who’s a bit shaky about History? Do the items from that Museum loans box sit forlornly on a table for a term wondering why they’re there?! Help is at hand. The Holst Birthplace Museum, with funding from Arts Council England, will be staging a Curriculum Fair in April 2017.

Professionals from Museums and Heritage sites throughout Gloucestershire will be showcasing what they have to offer your school and advising how they can support your Curriculum needs. Drop-in, break-out sessions can answer all your questions – not only about how to make History exciting in the classroom but how Gloucestershire’s heritage is a cross-curricular resource on your doorstep.

Bring the family – there’ll be children’s activities and Nature in Art to explore – the world’s first museum and art gallery dedicated to fine, decorative and applied art inspired by nature.

Venue:
Nature in Art
Main A38 Twigworth
Gloucester
GL2 9PA

Telephone: 01452 731422

Further information about the venue is available from Nature in Art
