Gustav Holst was born a Victorian but his career took off during the golden age of the gramophone. This exhibition highlights this golden age, which lasted from just before the First World War until the late 1940s. Visitors will see and hear Gustav’s own gramophone and view a range of his early recordings on disc. There will be a full programme of events for adults and children throughout the summer from hunting knitted ‘Nipper’ dogs to Curator talks.
