Our book group with a vintage twist will be starting up again on Wednesday 4th March 2020.

Revisit old favourites and discover forgotten classics in this monthly meet-up. The session will take place in the Victorian kitchen with plenty of tea, coffee and cake, as well as a coal-fire in the winter months.

Wednesday May 6th :     Wives and Daughters by Elizabeth Gaskell

Wednesday August 5th : The Portrait of Dorian Grey by Oscar Wilde

Wednesday September 2nd : Lady Audley’s Secret by Mary Elizabeth Braddon

Wednesday October 7th :   Daniel Deronda by George Eliot

Wednesday November 4th :  Phineas Phinn  by Anthony Trollope

Wednesday December 2nd : Under the Greenwood Tree by Thomas Hardy

Free with an annual admission ticket. A small donation towards refreshments is welcome. No need to book – just turn up!
