Re-opening ceremony at the Museum

Alex Chalk MP cut the ribbon at our reopening ceremony on Holst's birthday, 21st September

Alex Chalk MP cut the ribbon at our re-opening ceremony on 21st September 2020 – Gustav Holst’s birthday.   And Gustav himself came along to the festivities, with his friend Ralph Vaughan Williams by his side.  He even played the piano for us!

The Museum will re-open from Saturday 26th September 2020, for two days a week.  You can find all the details about how to book (online only) on this website.

Here are some pictures from the re-opening ceremony (photos by Lesley Sainty).  Many thanks to Gustav and Ralph (aka The Cheltenham Promenaders) and to Mandy & John Rowlands (our Victorian guests).
