Recitals on Holst’s piano: Aaron LeMaistre

The latest in our series of recitals on Holst's piano in support of our fundraising campaign

Aaron Le Maistre is a young multi-instrumentalist who has won many prizes in the Cheltenham Festival of Performing Arts playing the piano, violin, and viola, including winning the open recital piano class recently. He is a member of many ensembles, including the Gloucestershire Youth Orchestra, the Gloucestershire Youth Chamber Orchestra, and the CBSO Youth Orchestra.

We are very grateful to Aaron for donating his time and skill to support the Holst Museum.  In this recording, he plays a selection of pieces on Holst’s piano, including works by Beethoven, Alwyn, Bridge, Scarlatti, Chopin and Lizst.
