We believe Volunteers are at the heart of our Museum

The Holst Birthplace Museum welcomes volunteers as an essential part of our organisation. Our volunteers join us to make friends, to pursue an interest, to further their careers or just for fun! No prior knowledge of Gustav Holst or Victorian history is needed.
Volunteers help us by:
- Welcoming visitors and staffing the reception desk
- Serving in the shop
- Assisting with school sessions and family holiday activities
- Leading and assisting with guided tours
- Using their social media skills
- Assisting with administration
…and many other ways.
Volunteer Roles
- Learning Volunteer
